Ashlyn Cohen

Ashlyn Ophelia Cohen was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where she has been actively involved in music for over a decade. Ashlyn is an accomplished vocalist and also plays the piano, flute, piccolo, and ukulele. Ashlyn hopes to attend college and major in music in the coming years. In 2020, she was diagnosed with several medical conditions that caused her to be temporarily immobile. During this time, Ashlyn found that singing and playing her instruments always helped her feel better. For this reason, she was inspired to create "Olivia the Otter". Ashlyn is the Feature Twirler for her High School and enjoys film acting classes, public speaking classes, and writing poems in her free time. Ashlyn is the founder and owner of Oleander Lips, a cosmetic line that she founded at the age of 12. She started her own non-profit organization called Comforting and Caring Bears. Comforting and Caring Bears provides stuffed teddy bears to police stations across North Texas to give to children in crisis. Ashlyn has also created and funded music scholarships for middle school students in Texas.Â
